Who We Are

StinkySocks Hockey started up in the winter 2006-2007 season with the goal of putting together a league that was dedicated to having a great experience on and off the ice. It is all about the experience and what you are looking for. We were looking for a skate that was difficult to find in the Boston area... something that was more structured and dependable than pickup hockey without the BS (fights, disrespect, etc.) that you may find in more intense leagues.

We are a league that consists of players who all realize that they have to get up the next day and have come grips with the fact that they are not skating for the cup. We look to grow the league with players who have similar interests and are committed to providing the best adult hockey in the Boston area. Our skates are competitive yet friendly, always with two goalies, and always with a ref. The bottom line is that we are a league that offers a dependable, friendly skate, consisting of a group of great guys that enjoy competing.

Fall and Early Winter league have been announced and are now open for registration.

Congratulations to the Merkins for winning the 2010 Spring Break Away Tournament at Quincy Youth Arena on May 22nd and 23rd.

Are a player without a team then you have come to the right spot. You can enter as a single in our leagues, No Commitment Hockey games, or tournaments.

Are looking to skate on a team on a consistent night then check out the leagues and sign up as a full time player.

Are looking to fill in now and then then sign up for one of our No Commitment Hockey games to play on demand, when and where you want to!

Have your own team then contact us about getting into one of our leagues or enter a tournament as a team.
