Fire at Our Office Location

There was a fire at our office building in Dorchester in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 23rd. At that time we put our continuity of operations plan in effect to ensure that our games and events continue to go on as they otherwise would. However, there are some areas that will be impacted as a result of the fire and we wanted to make our players aware of them.

We thank everyone who has expressed their support as we navigate through this inconvenient time. As always, if there’s anything that we can do for you, please feel free to reach out.

Business as usual:

All of our games and events will continue to run as they otherwise would. You should expect the same great StinkySocks Hockey experience, from booking online through the handshake line. Thanks to our continuity of operations plan, all of our systems are a go; including our phone system, website, online booking system, web chat, email, and everything else that keeps things moving behind the scenes.


Where the slowdowns may be:

As we transition to a temporary office space, our resources will be stretched thin. During this period, our staff may not be available to answer calls as quickly as usual. The best way to reach us will be by submitting a request through our contact page. We’re always willing to take bookings over the phone when we’re available but at this time it may best to book online, particularly for No Commitment Hockey games in order to ensure that you secure your spot.

The show stoppers:

Unfortunately, due to the fire, we have lost our complete inventory of durable goods. As a result, delivery to you of jerseys, hockey socks, apparel, etc, will be significantly delayed as we await delivery of new merchandise from our suppliers. The option for store pickup is also not available while we are at our temporary location.
