New Location: Brighton (Bruins Practice Facility)

Skate on the same ice as the Boston Bruins. The Warrior Ice Arena is the pinnacle of a Boston ice hockey experience. The arena’s ice an exact replica of the Boston Garden ice, built to exact IceArena_Interior_Rink01specifications right down to the dasher ads being in the same locations as the Garden’s. The rink was built as a partnership between the Boston Bruins and New Balance/Warrior to be the state of the art practice facility for the Bruins. StinkySocks Hockey is excited to partner with the Warrior Ice Arena to bring recreational adult hockey of unmatched quality to an arena of the same caliber, starting in September, 2016.

The arena is located at Boston Landing at 100 Guest St in Brighton, MA, on the Mass Pike (I-90), just 6 miles west of downtown Boston and 7.5 miles east from IceArena_Exterior_GuestStwhere I-90 and I-95/128 meet. It’s location makes it easily accessible from anywhere in the Boston area, Metro-West, and specifically anywhere within the 128 belt. There is also a train stop being built at Boston Landing, which will make it easily accessible by public transportation. Parking is provided in the garage attached to the arena at no charge for our players. Boston Landing will also have several bars and restaurants for you to enjoy post-game.

StinkySocks Hockey will offer a SSH Open league (our traditional format) at the novice level on Wednesday nights. We’ll also be debuting our new BYOT (Bring Our Own Team) IceArena_Exterior_01Leagues with the opening of this facility, which will play on Sunday and Thursday nights at the lower intermediate (C-/D+) and intermediate (C) levels.

Our BYOT Leagues allow captains to bring in and manage their own teams, whereas Open Leagues allow individuals and small groups to maximize their recreation experience with only 10 players per team. Both formats provide the quality experience that StinkySocks Hockey is known for, including specific leveling, “no jerks”, professional staff, and much more. Over a year in the making, our partnership with the facility has brought out players the ability to play and an amazing location at the preferred times of 9PM and 10PM for the Fall/Winter, with even earlier times in the Spring/Summer.
