In past years the Boston Bruins Alumni Association has enabled StinkySocks Hockey to raise tens of thousands of dollars for worthy causes such as Good Sports and the Boston Bruins Foundation. They do the same for other organizations with 30+ games each year, adding up to over $500,000 generated through their games that go to organizations from youth hockey programs to Boys & Girls Clubs, scholarship funds, cancer research, hospitals, and many other causes. These organizations have a local and national impact and it all begins with the Boston Bruins Association, an independently run 501(c)(3) charitable organization that needs funding themselves in order to continue having such a broad impact. This year the money raised through our games will go to the Association so that they can continue providing games that benefit so many charitable causes.

To be eligible to play in one of the games, every participant must have participated in a StinkySocks Hockey league or No Commitment Hockey game in 2016 or 2017 and commit to raising a minimum of $500 for the Boston Bruins Association through this event. Players can meet their fundraising minimum by selling tickets to the game, having a business sponsor the event, or having friends/family donate directly.
