We’re excited to announce that the Somerville Women’s Draft League is back for its fifth season — and brand-new this winter, we’re adding a second women’s league at a higher level in Cambridge!

If you’re looking for a level-controlled league with balanced teams, and the convenience of the same rink at the same general time every week, this is it. Whether you’re still finding your feet or you played in high school, there’s a Sunday night league with your name on it.

 Registration for our 2026 Fall/Winter session is now open for both leagues.

How rosters and subs work

Teams are capped at 11 skaters, so you get a real shift every game. When a bench falls below 8 skaters for a given week, we facilitate placing subs so your team is never short. Games run 50 minutes with three 15-minute running periods, and guaranteed game counts include playoffs.
